Bei meiner 101 steht eine Motorrevision incl neuem Gehäuse an. :-(
Habe mal einen ersten kleinen Bericht in meinen Blog gestellt. Werde ein Repro Gehäuse aus Down Under verwenden (müssen).

Hallo,
Ich habe gestern meine, kürzlich erstandene, 101 zerlegt und bin etwas erschrocken über den Zustand meiner linken Motorgehäusehälfte.
Der Kurbelwellenflansch ist mal mit Knetmetall geflickt worden, die Gewinde der Olablassschrauben waren mal Gewinde und 2 Laschen zur Verschraubung sind gerissen.
Wenn ich da keine brauchbare Gebrauchte finde, muss ich vielleicht auch über eine Repro nachdenken.
Was hast Du denn für das Gehäuse bezahlt, wenn man fragen darf?

Hallo Mark, ich weiß nicht, ob die Repro Gehäuse noch weiter produziert werden. Mark Lesek ist ja kürzlich verstorben. Unabhängig davon, weiß ich nicht, ob ich nochmal eins kaufen würde. Der Aufwand das fahrfertig zu machen, war schon enorm und technisch aufwendig. Besser wäre einen Reparaturversuch zu unternehmen oder wie du schon schreibst, ein altes Gehäsue zu suchen (mit dem entsprechenden Risiko). Bei dem Repro landest du wahrscheinlich inzwischen bei 3500 USD plus ggfls Zoll/Eust Abgaben.

du fährst ja mit Ölabstreifringen , da staut sich das Öl im Motor und dann wird die Pumpeneinstellung verändert .Wenn die Pumpe runter gedreht ist wird sehr lange mit dem selben Öl geschmiert !

Das geht immer in die Hose.

Entweder Umlaufschmierung oder Verlustschmierung !

Habe schon einige so Verschlimmbesserte Motoren zurückgebaut .
