welche Erfahrungen liegen mit 6 Volt Gel Batterien ( 11 Ah) vor ?
Meine erste vom Fabrikat "BLITZ" hat blitzschnell - im Neuzustand (!!) den Geist
aufgegeben . Status = Grundüberholte 6 V Lima mit elektron. Regler.

bei meiner Four fahre ich seit ca.2 Jahren eine wartungsfreie Gelbatterie. Der Vorteil liegt auf der Hand, kleines Format, niedriges Gewicht und kocht nicht. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Auch meine 12Volt Motorräder laufen inzwischen alle mit Gelbatterie und es gab keine Probleme. Ich habe die Akkus alle bei Ebay gekauft. Wie das mit der Entsorgung läuft, weiß ich allerdings nicht.

Gel-Batterien sind ne feine Sache, wenn man darauf achtet, dass sie für Automotive bestimmt sind. Die billigen sind meist für Alarmanlagen oder ähnliches gedacht, wo sie keinen Vibrationen ausgesetzt sind. Die werden in einer Indian kaputt geschüttelt.
Alternativ kann man sie auch dick in Schaumstoff einpacken, aber die bessere Batterie ist hier sicherlich die bessere Wahl.
