Frohe Weihnachten euch allen!
Habe heute die LiMa meiner 47er Chief ausgebaut. Es ist eine Auto-Lite-LiMa mit aufesetztem Regler.
Meines Wissens gehört da normalerweise ja ein Cut-Out-Relay hin.
Der Regler hat 3 Anschlüsse: GEN, BAT und F.
Kann mir jemand sagen wie dieser Regler korrekt angeschlossen werden muss?

wahrscheinlich hast du dich schon gewundert weil du hier noch keine Antwort auf deine Frage bekommen hast. Das liegt daran weil deine Frage so nicht zu beantworten ist.
Du schriebst selbst das an die Autolite ein Cut-Out-Relay gehört. Das ist so wenn diese noch original, mit drei Kohlen ist. Da bei deiner ein Regler dabei war kann es sein das diese schon auf 2-Kohlen Betrieb umgebaut worden ist. Wenn dies so wäre gibt es wieder zwei Möglichkeiten. Entweder ist sie auf plus oder minus Regelung umgebaut. Genauso gibt es analog dazu Regler die über den minus oder den plus regeln. Da müssen der Regler und die Lima zusammen passen.
Wenn das alles passen sollte muss dein Regler so angeschlossen werden wie es auf im drauf steht.

das ist ist richtig. Bei einer 3-Kohlen LiMa wird die Ladespannung über die 3'te Kohle eingestellt. Damit von der Batterie keine Rückstrom über die Lima abfließt, wenn diese keine oder eine zu niedrige Spannung erzeugt, wird ein Cut-Out Relais dazwischen geschaltet. Dies kann man heutzutage recht einfach mit einer entsprechenden Diode realisieren.
Da die Ladung der Batterie mit einer 3-Kohlen LiMa meist etwas dürftig ist, werden diese oftmals auf 2- Kohlen mit entsprechenden Regler umgebaut.
Wenn du gern viel und weit fährst ist keine Schande eine moderne LiMa zu montieren.

Ich frage mich nur warum der Vorbesitzer dann diesen "Regler" auf die LiMa gebaut hat.

soweit ich weiß, kann man die drei Kohlen Limas anders verkabeln und dann als zwei Kohlen Lima verwenden. Vielleicht ist dies bei Deiner Maschine der Fall.
Wenn Du mehr über die alten Limas wissen willst, empfehle ich Dir das Buch "Kupferwurm" von Karl Hertweck. Da sind die verschiedenen Lichtmaschinen und Regler beschriebenund erklärt.

Ja, von dem Umbau von 3-Kohlen auf 2-Kohlen habe ich gehört. Anleitungen dazu habe ich im Netz auch schon entdeckt.
Mal sehen was ich da mache. Das hat jetzt aber noch Zeit, da ich die Maschine mittlerweile komplett zerlegt habe.
Das liess sich leider nicht vermeiden.
